EmailTags FAQ



EmailTags version 1.x is fully compatible with Windows 10. All versions of our software work with Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.

EmailTags can be used with Outlook 2007, 2010, 2013 and 2016 (32 and 64 bit)

Please contact us at sales@standss.com for an MSI installation package and instructions for customizing and deployment using Windows Server Group Policies.

This error normally occurs if you are either:
     1. Entering your unlock code or name incorrectly or
     2. Have installed the wrong software.

Each license of EmailTags can be used on one computer only. If you are installing the software on the same computer and this message appears, please contact our support team with details.

If you wish to transfer your license from one computer to another (e.g. you have purchased a new computer), click here for instructions on transferring licenses between computers.

This error normally occurs when you do not have adequate permission on your Temp folder in windows.

To transfer a license from one computer to another, you need to deactivate it on the first computer before it can be activated on the second.
To deactivate please follow the steps below:

In Outlook 2007:
   - From Microsoft Outlook, select the Tools menu.
   - Choose Standss > EmailTags.
   - Click About EmailTags
   - Click the Deactivate button to deactivate.

In Outlook 2010:
   - Click on the Standss Outlook Addins tab > click More.
   - Click About EmailTags.
   - Click the Activate/Deactivate button
   - Click the link "Deactivate software on this computer"
You will now be able to install the software on another computer and activate it again.

Please deactivate your software first before formatting your computer. This will enable you to install and activate again after formatting.

   In Outlook 2007:
   - From Microsoft Outlook, select the Tools menu.
   - Choose Standss > EmailTags.
   - Click About EmailTags
   - Click the Deactivate button to deactivate.

In Outlook 2010:
   - Click on the Standss Outlook Addins tab > click More.
   - Click About EmailTags.
   - Click the Activate/Deactivate button
   - Click the link "Deactivate software on this computer"

No, the advertisement is ONLY in the Demo version.

In order to use the “Tag it!” Button, please ensure that you select an email. The “Tag it!” button will not work if there are no emails in the inbox or if no emails are selected. The Tag It feature only works with emails items.

To maintain your tags list, please follow the instructions below:
In Outlook 2007
  -Click Tools on the toolbar > click Standss > click EmailTags > click on Settings. You will now be able to see the settings screen.
  -Click on Maintain Tags List
  -You can now “Import, Add and Delete” Your Tags.

In Outlook 2010
  -Click Standss Outlook Addins tab > More > Settings. You will now be able to see the settings screen.
  -Click on Maintain Tags List
  -You can now “Import, Add and Delete” Your Tags.
