Simplified (Less Steps) and Updated (Modern) UI

While users love simplicity of the step-by-step Wizard, it had several steps that were rarely used. We have retained and improved on the functionality but reduced the number of steps. The look of the entire application (it has been more than 5 years since) has also been updated.

Much Much Much Faster

The core of the old Email Merge engine was more than FIVE YEARS OLD. We have rewritten major parts of the code to give you the best performance possible. For example, loading an Excel file with a 1000 contacts has reduced from 2 minutes 8 seconds to 5 seconds.

Continue to use Outlook (while the new Scheduler merges and send emails in the background)

A common complaint from users of the older version was that they could not use Outlook while the merge was taking place. Email Merge 5 now has a scheduler that runs your merges in the background so you can continue to use Outlook for your work while the emails are being sent out in the background.

Pause, Reschedule or Cancel Merges easily and quickly

The Scheduler also shows each merge as a single line so you can select to Pause, Reschedule or even Cancel your merges. This was difficult in the old version which required you to manually delete the emails and then re-run the entire merge again.

Merges don't clutter your Outbox

Another complaint from users of the older version was that all emails were created in the Outbox (even if they were scheduled for later sending). This made your Outbox crowded and difficult to separate merges from normal emails. The Scheduler now creates emails when they need to be sent out making it much easier to use Outlook and your Outbox for normal emails.

Unsubscribes and Bounceback Management has been automated

It is now even easier to use templates to quickly create and format your emails. The built-in template manager lets you organize your templates into groups for easier access and use.

Segment your Mailing List using the Updated List Manager

Studies show that you can greatly increase the responses to your emails by segmenting your mailing list and only sending relevant information to each recipient. EmailMerge's List Manager can segment your Outlook contacts or Excel mailing lists quickly and easily.

Unattended End-of Day Merges

Schedule long merges (or merges that need to go out late at night) and have EmailMerge automatically shut down your computer once the merge is complete.

Version 5 makes it even easier to merge to Salesforce contact AND update Salesforce with merge details.
